Volunteer

New Horizons provides behavioral health services for adults with severe mental illnesses. Contact us if you have an interest in volunteering part-time with the staff and consumers in Jefferson City or Columbia, MO. A positive and caring attitude is essential. Placements and settings will vary depending on agency needs and interests of the applicant. All volunteers have to pass a background check, will sign a Volunteer Agreement and may be required to get TB testing. Placements are unpaid and the volunteer is not considered an employee. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and will be provided an orientation and supervision.
